COVID-19 Information

Remote video appearances are authorized for civil and criminal cases; however, pursuant to AB 199 and SB 135, there are specific limitations for remote criminal cases. Please see the Zoom Appearance Request link below for more information.

The Madera County Superior Court is utilizing "Zoom" as the preferred remote appearance platform.

Judicial Council of California Covid-19 News Center

The Judicial Council continues to closely monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation. Courts have been advised to follow guidance provided by the Department of Public Health, and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to limit the spread of the virus.
